About the role:CPL's Mylestones Solutions is a Disability Social Enterprise, employing people with a disability in locations across Queensland.We employ people with disabilities and provide them with on-the-job training so that they have the skills to do a great job.An opportunity exists within the Mylestones Solutions team in Strathpine, North Brisbane for an entrepreneurial manager to manage the operations and performance of a business unit and site. This consists of a direct mail service, a mobility equipment warehouse, coffee cart and retail area each providing employment and training programs for employees with a disability.Responsibilities include:Maximise the financial performance of each service (print/digital copy/direct mail, warehousing and contract packaging services).Support the transition of existing supported employees to NDIS.Coordinate new employee acquisition, intake and the schedule of employment and training programs.Support new and prospective clients to learn about and experience employment service options.Effectively manage day to day operations including programs resources including staff, finance and facilities.Identify and develop viable innovation and business development opportunities for each program.  Support the Business Coordinators to develop business. Provide effective leadership and direction to staff at Mylestones programs.  Monitor and evaluate programs and services to achieve individual outcomes of the supported employees.To be considered, you will have:High-level business acumen and ability to generate business preferably in bulk mail business and contract packaging.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to write business plans and proposals, budgets, tender responses and contract documentation.Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.Sound understanding of NDIA and other funded employment supports.Sound working knowledge of Supported Employment and Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE).Awareness of disability service standards and practices.Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating a diverse team to achieve goals.Relevant qualification and experience in working within Australian Disability Enterprises and Social Enterprise Employment programs will be highly regarded.Benefits:Competitive salarySalary packaging benefits, car and mobile phone.Excellent values driven culture and highly inspirational management team.Applications close on Friday, 26 April 2019.
