About the role:Working within the Moreton and Sunshine Coast region, the Job Development Officer performs individualised job searches, effectively markets job seekers and places people with disability into ongoing and fulfilling employment that is unique to their interests and values.Responsibilities include:performing individualised job search, marketing and placement of people with disability into employment and to support each to maintain their positionsupporting continuous improvement in the business performance of Mylestones Employment Services and effectively contribute towards achievement of the organisation's vision and purposeachieving documented key performance indicators and provide regular feedback and information in relation to the achievement of those targets to the Coordinator as requireddeveloping, documenting and implementing high quality marketing strategies, work plans and practicesworking with employers and participants providing support to maximise integration, development and achievement of goals set out in employment pathway plansTo be successful you will have:Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing, and experience and/or ability in recruitment, job matching and placement, preferably within the disability sectorHigh-level verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to demonstrate consultation, negotiation and problem solving skillsWell-developed organisational and time management skillsExperience in working to set targets and the ability to focus on outcomesPrevious experience in job placement within Disability Employment ServicesCurrent 'C' class driver's licenceCPL as an employer:CPL - Choice Passion Life is a non-profit organisation providing services for people with physical disabilities so they can lead the lives they choose.
