We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to deliver high quality budgeting, planning and forecasting models and improve financial performance of the organisation.  CPL is a leading non-profit organisation that provides vital support and services to children and adults with disabilities across Queensland and into northern New South Wales.Working in a small high performing non-hierarchical team you will have the support of the Business Analysis Manager and really enjoy variety in the business units you work with.  You will be a great business partner able to work with all levels of the organisation including the Executive Management team.  With the NDIS presenting opportunities and challenges to organisations in this sector, it’s an exciting time to join us and grow your career!Responsibilities include:Annual budget preparation and review and in preparing forecasts including cashflow.Design and maintenance of budgeting and rolling forecasting system models to improve performance monitoring under new funding model.Key contributor to organisation wide business intelligence reporting projects, particularly financial and non-financial data dashboards linking to KPI reporting for budget holders.Work effectively and innovatively with Corporate Services team and budget holders to deliver highly accurate and timely analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance at program, service and region/business unit level.Build and maintain strong relationships with budget holders across CPL, with a particular focus on developing and understanding their financial performance monitoring needs, cost drivers and prices for disability services. To be successful in this role you will have:A post graduate business qualification - CA/CPA or equivalent preferredEvidence of ability to prepare management reporting, budgets, forecasts and financial models.
