Now is your chance to join our team!In this newly created role reporting to the Senior Allied Health and Clinical Governance Unit Manager, your role will be to lead the Behaviour Support and Wellbeing team to ensure CPL’s staff have the highest level of understanding and capability in the practice areas of positive behaviour support and client wellbeing. Working closely with the Clinical Governance Team, you’ll be ensuring we are providing the highest quality services to our clients, customers and staff through an evidence based, multi-disciplinary approach. Responsibilities include:Implementation of the organisational framework for safeguarding clients and building capacity of CPL staff in the areas of positive behaviour support, restrictive practices, and mental health and wellbeing.Working to achieve best practice within the scope of the roleDevelop and maintain strong and effective relationships with the NDIS Commission and other key stakeholdersEnsuring all stakeholders are kept informed of legislative and NDIS reporting requirementsDevelopment of resources to facilitate relevant processes and guidelinesClient data management and analysis for decision making and improvementsAdhoc Queensland state-wide and northern NSW travelUndertake other responsibilities as directed by the manager Please review the attached position description for a full list of responsibilities and selection criteria.Selection criteria includes:Strong understanding of, and experience in, positive behaviour support, restrictive practices and mental health services.Knowledge of NDIS Commission and practice standards and behaviour support regulatory requirements.Tertiary qualification in an Allied Health field e.g. Psychology/ Mental Health Nursing or Human Services.Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and medical and community models of support.Proven ability to work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.Ability to lead, coach and mentor a team to achieve set goals and objectives.Highly effective communication skill both written and verbal.Solid competency and skills with MS Office and systems.Valid C class driving licence and ability to travel to undertake the duties of the role. Benefits include:Permanent, full-time role with ASAP Start!Based in Brisbane CBD and BeenleighCompetitive Salary and salary packaging to boost take home pay furtherDynamic environmentValues based culture with supportive team environment Applications to close by Friday 6th November, unless filled prior, thanksPosition description AUD Australia - QLD Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs Brisbane City 4000
