Reporting to the CFO, your role is critical to ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of CPL’s procurement activities, ensuring an agile, customer focused and sustainable operating model. The role will manage strategic and operational procurement activities at CPL and drive procurement processes across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic advice to CPL on effective procurement managementLead a compact procurement team to achieve high performanceCreate new, and improve on, current processes from pre-procurement to contract managementResponsible for the process of tendering and category; contract and supplier management including performance and renewalsEstablish, maintain and improve the procurement pipeline and contracts databaseDrive ‘value for money’ while ensuring compliance with CPL policies and the objective of the procurement function.Data extraction and expenditure analysis with a view to drive cost saving initiatives.Develop strong relationships with departments and stakeholdersSelection Criteria includesMinimum 5-8 years’ management experience in a procurement function.Comprehensive knowledge of the supply chain processes, fundamentals of purchasing and negotiation skills.Experience and skill in improving value for money propositions.Strong analytical skills and the ability to amalgamate financial and non-financial information.Ability to manage tendering processesHighly effective communication skills at all levelsRelevant tertiary qualifications and/or best practice procurement skillsBenefitsPermanent, Full-time Salary packaging options – boost your take home payEmployee benefits programGrow your career with a leading not-for-profit organisation Applications to close by Tuesday 15th September, unless filled prior thanks!Position description AUD Australia - QLD Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs Brisbane City 4000
