We're on the lookout for committed individuals like yourself, eager to create genuine impact! We're hiring casual Direct Support Workers to assist our Aged Care clients residing across Forest Lake to Jindalee and surrounding suburbs!
We are looking for flexible, experienced, and adaptable team members to join our team with a range of shifts the client needs for assistance.
Your contribution:
- Assisting with personal care, including showering, dressing and personal hygiene
- Administering medications
- Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry or meal preparation
- Assisting clients between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
- Community engagement, such as attending doctors appointments, grocery shopping or other social or recreational activities of their choice
About you:
- Have capacity to work flexible hours on a roster system - CPL provide 24/7 assistance, meaning the more available you are, the more shifts we can potentially offer you
- Are looking for a change from aged care facilities and have the opportunity to build a rapport with your aged care clients
- Are great communicators dedicated to providing the best service for every person
- Are even better listeners who can work autonomously, as well as under direction and within a team environment
- Calm and confident in all different environments and understand the importance of professional boundaries
- Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care is highly desirable
- Can provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients
- Believe in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courage
- Australian Open Driver's License and full comprehensive car insurance
- Variety of shifts available Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am - 5pm
- Have the capacity to travel to clients homes

Before you commence, you will need:
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
- Commitment to infection prevention and control measures including the use of PPE as directed
- Australian Open Drivers License and full comprehensive car insurance
- Have your own vehicle to attend shifts
