Now is your chance to be part of our amazing future!In this new and exciting role, you’ll be overseeing and implementing our human resources, employee relations, training and recruitment functions providing contemporary ER and HR advice, guidance and support to management and staff across Cootharinga’s North Queensland locations.Responsibilities includeOversee and implement HR functions and support to HR staff.Undertake grievance and complaint investigations and provide reports and recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.Provide timely and accurate ER advice to Cootharinga managers and staffPartner with managers to strengthen their leadership skills in ER matters.Commitment to continuous improvement and Cootharinga’s values, vision and purpose.Drive people processes (performance, development, and change) to ensure people performance and capabilities meet current and future needs.Coach and support on current HR practices, Fair Work, NES, Award / EA.Travel throughout Queensland, particularly North Queensland is required, and may need to work outside standard hours.Selection criteria includesMinimum 5 years practical experience in a similar role with experience in human resources, training and recruitment, including supervisory (team management) experience.Strong awareness and working knowledge of employment related legislation including Fair Work Act, NES, awards, regulations, industrial agreements together with policies and procedures, and contemporary HR practices.High level of ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation in the resolution of HR issues.Experiencing in supervising and coaching a team including the ability to facilitate and deliver training and information sessions to employees.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Experience in contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of best practice policies, procedures, strategies and/or initiatives designed to improve HR management practices.Must hold or (have the ability to) obtain all necessary licensing, checks and qualifications relevant to the industries that we operate in. Benefits includePermanent, full-time role (consideration given to flexible working hours to the right candidate; minimum 30 to 38 hrs per week)Values based, leading profit-for-purpose organisationGrow your career in the high-growth disability sectorCompetitive salary packageRelocation costs up to $5,000 considered as requiredSalary packaging; grow your take home pay!Applications to close by Wednesday 27th January, unless filled prior...thanks! Position Description AUD Australia - QLD Townsville & Northern QLD Townsville
